Welcome to Sanity Derailment! I’m Daniel Tan aka BoltClock, and this webcomic is a collaboration of sorts between me and my friend Nicole Lim aka Nikkiko.

That means you’ll not only find two completely different drawing styles, but you’ll also find completely different personalities (and different senses of humor) in our work and such. Yet both of us are publishing in the same webcomic site, possibly even doing crossovers once in a while. Interesting concept, huh? But I don’t think we’re the first to do things this way. Not everyone‘s doing it though, so let’s be innovative for once

I churn out a comic on Mondays while Nicole, having an aptly uniquely randomly peculiar schedule, issues one every 12th and 17th of a month (I don’t know why, I suggest you ask her if you’re so inclined to know). In the event that Nicole publishes on a Monday, I will return with a comic on the following Monday. By the way, I publish at 5 pm UTC + 8 (that’s 1 am PDT, 4 am EST and 7 am UTC) and Nik publishes at noon UTC + 8 (that’s 8 pm PDT, 11 pm EST and 2 am UTC). Sometimes there may be some hiccups or events along the way causing us to either postpone or completely forgo some comics, but otherwise things should run pretty smoothly.
